Richie is a Carlow native who has been surfing in Lahinch since 1995. Based in Lahinch since, he can be found in the water somewhere when not coaching, either longboarding on the small days or out on his short board in the winter swells. His calm quiet manner, attention to detail and technical awareness makes him a fantastic coach.

Cian a Galway native has been surfing since he was 17 and a coach for over 5 years. Working not only in Ireland Cian also gained some fantastic surf coaching experience in Costa Rica. Cian loves to surf and when he can mix it with travelling the man is never happier. He has surfed everywhere from South America to Morocco and Austrilia, but loves the winters in Clare, recently getting out in some of the bigger spots along the Clare coast. With years of instructional experience in both surfing and climbing, chilled to the bone and right on the botton with his tips, a surf session or two with Cian will open up a whole new view of surfing for you.
