Irelands Original Improver Surf Course.

Surf Clinic consists of 4 surf lessons over two days, plus a theory class and possible video analysis. This courses gives you a chance to get rid of those bad habbits and go away with lots of new ideas and techniques to work on. The courses focuses on getting all the basics down but also increasing wave count and riding time. We often find people struggle to break bad habbits on their own, this course gives you both time and support form a professional experienced coach who will guide you to a better way of surfing.Surf lessons are all water based with as little time as possible on the beach.

 Rough breakdown:

Surf Lesson 1 :Get in the water and see where your surfing is at. Identify positive andnegatives. Ensure basics are all there.

Surf Lesson 2: Revisit surfing basics on pop up and surf stance while working on reading waves, increasing riding time, and direction on wave.

Theory Class: Wave forecasting, reading beaches , how to get best from wave, and video analysis if possible.

 Surf Lesson 3:Wave riding time, turns and gaining speed.

Surf Lesson 4: Consolidate all skills and show where to go next and how to get there, ie, paddling out green waves etc. You are given a skills card at the start of the course which you can record teaching point s and tips.

Although intensive , surfing is fun and so is this course, the best way to enjoy yourself catching and riding lots of waves for as long as you can. All surf lessons are based in Lahinch surf beach, however we have the option to move to other surf beaches for surf lessons if surf conditions suit the group better.We can provide all gear including winter wetsuits, soft or hard boards, hoods gloves etc. or you can bring your own board and be coached on it. Course limited to 6 places to ensure lots of personal attention and progress.
