If you prefer, private one-to-one lessons can be arranged, they last between two hours in the water and are a great way to discover all those little mistakes that you are making and how to sort them out.

Sessions will be set at the right level for you from the complete beginner to your first trip to the reef, we can guide you through it and give you plenty to work on when you have left.

 All gear can be provided and if you are thinking of buying a board you can try out a number of different ones to see what suits you.

When people are looking for support to get that little bit further out to try bigger waves, or try to surf a reef for the first time, we normally put them through their paces on the beach first to make sure all the basics are good and then venture out if the conditions are suitable. When going out on the reef or out back we always have to consider both conditions and local surfers. It would be unfair to be in the way of other surfers out to enjoy themselves. Lucky there are plenty of options around Clare that we can usually find something to suit all abilities.
