Children & Teen Lessons

Our children surf lessons start from 8 years upwards.

Its a great age to start to surf and build confidence in the water.

Safety is our number one priority so we work in small groups (Max 8) of roughly the same age group. This allows loads of attention and progress to each individual child.

We believe in encouraging children to learn the right way, right from the start, which means a greater chance of them continuing to surf for life.
We ensure every child does well through a very specific structured teaching process.

We intertwine fun games and skill learning to keep everyone smiling and having fun, while also building confidence in their surfing. Once they are successful all they will want is more and more time in the water.

We also run teen lessons, keeping the same age group together and aim to progress their surfing bringing them to the next level. Always giving them new challenges and targets to reach to keep their interest.

Mini Groms (5-7yrs)

As a father of three small children Ben feels it is important to take small steps in developing a passion for the sea and surfing in small children too. With that in mind we set up very small groups (max of 4) of kids.

We try and pick days where the weather and surf suits them, warm sunny days with little or no waves are best. It ensures kids have a great time and no little scares. We spend about an hour in the water and it is all about fun and surfing.

“Super Surf Coaching”

29 March 2016

Great patient coaches, super safety conscious. Even within groups coaches tailor their approach to each individual to get the best out of each group member and have fun.

Learning by doing is so much more fun and coaches give you as much info as you can absorb about the mechanics of both the sea and surfing. Thanks Ben, Brian and Mike for a great week.
